Individual Psychology and the PsychoClarity Method – Adlerian Based
This is considered primarily 1 to 1 treatment and is done face to face.  The emphasis is on understanding our mistaken goals, beliefs and patterns of behavior that cause us life problems.  As with all psychotherapy, it is meant to be pleasurable to learn how to eliminate painful emotions and behaviors in our lives.  The goal is to move toward a pleasurable life and move away from a painful one.  Alfred Adler, MD of the Alfred Adler Institute is the developer of this highly effective and internationally known method and I am a graduate of  this institute.
PHASE  1. Includes mutual trust, respect, honesty, openness, goal alignment and empathetic (not sympathetic) listening.
PHASE  2. Requires uncovering, analysis and assessment of the life-style effects on the life tasks of:  social, occupational, marital and parental relationships.  The level of self-esteem and the life-style priorities are evaluated using the Kern Life-Style Scale.  Measurement is made of the 5 priorities of: controlling, perfectionism, pleasing, victim and martyr.
PHASE  3. Explores the family constellation, dynamics and atmospheric conditions.  Data on early recollections and mistaken beliefs is gathered that has led to the present irrational beliefs and behavior.
PHASE  4. Contains the process where insight and outsight is developed and the hidden goals of the self-defeating behavior are identified.
PHASE  5. Involves reeducation and remotivation to become more effective in our approach to the challenges of living.  Problem solving and communication skills, realistic goal setting, risk taking, developing courage and self esteem building are major aspects in creating healthy change and movement toward success in the life tasks as listed above.
